A story that challenges the way history has been written.
Join NY Times bestselling author Cameron Sullivan in conversation with Rangebow Festival Director Wayne Parcell as they explore The Red Winter—a thrilling collision of queer romance, dark magic, mythology and history. Discover the inspiration behind this bewitching retelling of the Beast of Gévaudan, the art of bringing monsters to life, and why love, identity, power and redemption make such compelling stories. Expect a fascinating conversation with plenty of bite!
Cameron Sullivan grew up in Perth, and made his home in Melbourne in 2014, working as a copywriter. The Red Winter brings together all of his passions: history, languages, mythology, gore, good spelling and men falling in love. He is a self-confessed lifelong dork, a passionate gamer and can speak reasonable Italian when required.
Enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles before the event begins at 2.30pm.
Due to street beautifcation works, we recommend that you park in the carpark behind the IGA, accessed via Teak Street, and enter the ed Room (downstairs) from the rear carpark.
Please note that no admission is available after 3.00pm once the discussion has begun.
