The Pineapple Parfait Cup returns to the Montville Tennis Club for an afternoon of tennis, croquet and gloriously playful chaos.

For four delightful hours the courts and grounds transform into a colourful Wonderland where sport, theatre and community collide. Teams of two take part in a series of light-hearted tennis and croquet challenges competing for laughter, bragging rights and the coveted title of Monarchs of Wonderland.

Expect flamboyant costumes, curious characters wandering the grounds, unexpected moments of mischief and plenty of cheering from the sidelines as matches unfold throughout the afternoon. Enthusiasm matters far more than skill.

Maleny Ukulele ensemble will be wandering the courts and croquet lawns, serenading players, spectators and the occasional bewildered monarch.

Families are warmly welcomed. Children can enjoy their own croquet lawn while adults join the tennis games or relax courtside soaking up the festive atmosphere.

The event runs from 11am to 3pm, with lunch, refreshments and drinks available throughout the afternoon, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

Wonderland flair is strongly encouraged. Think tennis whites with a twist, Mad Hatter hats, flamingo pink, playing cards, crowns or curious sporting costumes. Tennis shoes or sneakers are required for anyone participating in the games.

This is not a serious sporting event. It is a joyful celebration of play, creativity and community — where Wimbledon meets Alice in Wonderland and the rules are delightfully flexible.
